Pink, Pearls, Ribbon and Candy

Hello Maggie Fans,

I can't believe March is over. Time just flies. In one month we are expecting the arrival of our first grandchild! No one know whether it is a girl or boy not even the parents themselves. So for her baby shower I decorated her table with both Pink and Blue.

Below is a photo of my DIL. Do you think it is a girl or boy?  I know let's have some fun. Her due date is May 1st. If you want to play along here is what you need to do:

1. Become a follower if you are not already (I would like to reach 250 followers. I hope you will play along)
2. Guess the due date
3. Guess the sex of the baby

Here is what the person who gets the due and sex of the baby correct. Now we may end up with the closet date. A $20.00 gift certificate to Magnolia Licious plus a special gift from me.

I created this Tussie Mussie using Pion Paper (my most favorite). The embellishments I added were pearl trim, pearl bling, flower trim, ribbon, tulle trim, resin and chipboard goodies. For Magnolia Stamps I chose Little Cute Tilda and Flower Basket. Tilda skin and hair were colored with Copic Markers and her outfit and ribbon I stamped on the DP.

In the Garden

Happy Wednesday,

Welcome to Midweek Magnolias "In the Garden". I chose the Magnolia stamp "Tilda in the Garden". She is just so adorable. The paper I used is from Craft and you Design - Tea Time. Tilda was colored with Copic Markers and her clothing was paper pieced. The die cuts  are butterfly, dragonfly, lantern from Magnolia Doo Hickey Dies. Bird house die is from Marianne Dies. I distressed the paper, added some flowers, bling, ribbon and a wooden birdhouse.

I hope you will join us this week! I can't wait to see what you will create.

Magnolia Licious Blog Hop

Welcome to our Magnolia Licious blog hop Circles, Spots, Dots and Blots. You should have arrived from Karen's S blog. I know she had a beautiful creation to share with you. Isn't her work just amazing?
Today, I would like to share my altered canvas. I painted the canvas with gesso, stenciled with light molding paste. Once this dried I sprayed it Prima Bloom mist spray green and pink. I used the postcard stamp with brown Archival Ink as a background element. I painted a metal frame and chipboard accents with Tim Holtz Picket Fence crackle paint. Below are the stamps and dies I chose. The images were colored with Copic Markers and/or paper pieced. The paper is from Pion's new collection "Paris Flea Market".

Magnolia Licious Stamps -Christmas Lace Heart, Loves Me Loves Me Not Tilda, Postcard, mini Tilda.

Dies - Magnolia Doo Hickey Brides Bow, Butterfly, and Lantern, Eiffel Tower, Heart Vine from the OOh La La Collection. Little Darlings View Finder.

Embossing Wet or Dry

Happy Sunday,

I hope everyone has had a fabulous weekend! Please join us over at Simply Magnolia this week for embossing wet or dry. My first Christmas card of 2015 Tilda with Apple Wreath. I colored her up a couple of months ago and decided to use her for this card.

I colored Tilda with Copic Markers and paper pieced her dress. I used the Magnolia Silent Night stamp and embossed it with a clear embossing powder. The dies I chose were Susan Wilson's Poinsettia, Magnolia Doo Hickey Christmas tag, Lala land corner die and go create. The paper is from Pion. I distressed the paper add some bling and ribbon. Enjoy your week!

Edwin serving champagne

Happy March!

This weekend we had a wonderful time with the kids. Brian and his dad laid a new floor in the babies room, painted and are adding a closet organizer. Of course while they were working I went shopping for the baby with my DIL.

Now on to our challenge over at Magnolia Licious "Bingo". I chose Time to Drink Champagne Edwin from the Lovely Duo collection. I have to say he is one of my favorite Edwin images. The card design is a starburst using Maja paper. Edwin was paper pieced and colored with Copic markers. I think he looks quite dapper; don't you? Bling/Die Cuts/ Ribbon...Now it is your turn....
