Things with Wings

Happy Wednesday,

I am sad today. I am flying later today back to snow country. The warm sunshine and ocean breeze have been awesome. And I had a spectacular time with my kids. How is your week going? I hope it is going well.

Today I made a card featuring a Magnolia stamp "Summer Flower Tilda". She is just so pretty. She is my favorite because she is so sweet, I love her wings and her dress. She is studying the flower so intently. And the color purple seems appropriate for spring and Easter. I colored her with Copic Markers and used a lot of butterflies to compliment her wings. The paper is from Graphic 45 which I actually love "A Place in Time". I hope I have inspired you today!

Happy Birthday

Happy Sunday,

It is a beautiful sunny day here but very chilly! I heard a horrible rumor that it was going to snow on Tuesday. Not lovin' that rumor. But on the bright side I am Florida bound on Friday. I haven't posted a Magnolia card in almost three weeks. It made me sad so I had to create one today. If I am lucky I will finish two. We will see. So without further ado; here is my birthday card.

I don't usually use bright colors but this paper was screaming; use me...LOL! Today I used Tilda with Dot Bow. I colored her with Copic Markers and for her polka dots I used Liquid Pearls.  The heart she is lying on is from Memory Box "Precious Heart Box". I filled the heart with yellow tissue paper and embellished it with heart stick pins. The paper is from Simple Stories "Happy Day". I did a lot of fussy cutting - the banner then I added the letters to spell Tilda, the sign "to you" and Tilda. To complete the card I used some netting, ribbon and bling. I hope I have inspired you today.
