Vintage Canvas Class

Good Morning,

This weekend I went to an awesome class. The instructor was  I learned so many tips for mix media. Below is the canvas I made. Lynne was awesome. She is so knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor.

A close up of the flower which was made with vintage curtains and colored with Twinkling H20's and Silks.

I went with my good friend Sandy. Our other two friends unfortunately couldn't make it. After the class we ate at this awesome seafood restaurant! So yummy; fish and chips. Then when I got home my husband took me for my favorite ice cream - Mocha Chip.

My friend Sandy shared some of her lace with me. I was very excited and grateful. You can see my gorgeous lace below.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your week!

Roseta by Syliva Zet

Hello,

Is everyone having a good summer? It is humid and warm here with a lot of rain.  I hope the sun comes out soon.

Today I am featuring this pretty stamp by Sylvia Zet for Whimsy Stamp. I colored her with Copic markers and used some fran tage. If you haven't tried the fran tage I highly recommend it. You can create some cool affects with frantage. I inked up all the edges of my paper. Figured out my design and added embellishments to complete my card.  I hope I have inspired you today to try something new!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Isn't She Lovely

Are you ready for the weekend? I sure am, we are supposed to have some nice weather. Which is a really pleasant break from all the rain.

Last week I got a nice package from Diana over at Magnolia. I so excited when I received my order.  Yesterday I got to play with “Cute Little Tilda.” I fell in love with her.

I decided to do a little something different for my card. I found a fan template online and decided it would be perfect. I colored my image with Copic markers (skin E000, E00, E11, R20; hair E50, E51, E53; outfit and bow R81, R83, R85. I added polka dots to her outfit with a white poster paint sharpie.
I used my spellbinders to cut out the round circles. I gather the lace behind the second oval. Fran tage is so awesome; I added Fran tage to the top edges of the fan and around Tilda. She looks like she is kneeling in a pile of fine feathers. To complete the design I used Cheery Lynn Dies – Flourish and Butterfly, added a few flowers, and some pearls to the butterfly.
