Edwin with the Christmas Lantern


I can't believe how fast the weekend went. I got some cleaning and lots of cooking done. And of course I made some time for crafting. My husband bought me 7 new magnolia stamps for Christmas plus Santa Claus got me the Vagabond! So I had to use one of my new stamps.

I know Christmas is over but I couldn't resist using Edwin with the Christmas Lantern. I used a chipboard house to make a tree ornament. Edwin was colored with Copic Markers and I used paper for his sweater and hat to add some dimension. I used Memory Box Yuletide Paper and the Snowflake border & Window die. The inside of the window is paper from a Christmas Martha Stewart pack. I painted the window with Creme de Cocoa Glimmer Mist. The edges of the house and window were inked with Iced Spruce Distress Ink. I added snowflakes using a Martha Stewart snowflake punch. To finish off the look I added light iced blue pearls and the Tim Holtz Holiday Muse Token. Aqua velvet ribbon was added to hang the ornament.

I added Merry Christmas to the back using felt letters that I colored with Copic and I added a snowflake too.

    This is gorgeous. Edwin looks wonderful with that gorgeous sweater and matching hat.I love the shape of the card and the memory box die at the bottom.

    Lucky you for Christmas, I have a Vegabond, love it. Edwin is really cute on your ornament. I like the style you created too. He will look great on next years tree.

    Oh my gracious - I love this Karen. I am going to have to back and really study this. I love the border and of course I love anything to do with snow! That window is really great and Edwin is perfect here. What a great idea of the TH token. I love this Karen!!!!
