Halloween in August - Tilda with Pumpkin
We were very lucky with hurricane Irene; in our area we got a lot of rain and some wind. I know many around us are flooding and experiencing power outages. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone.
Last week I received about ten new Magnolia stamps. I am so looking forward to making some new cards this coming week. Here is one of my new stamps.
So today I spent my day making a Halloween card with Tilda with Pumpkin. She is such an adorable image. I colored her with Copic Markers B63, B66, C00, C01, C03, C05, E000, E00, E11, G20, G21, R20, Y11, Y21, Y38, YR12, YR15, YR18, YR20, and YR21. To add some glimmer; I used a black Spica pen on the handle of the pumpkin and I used glimmer mist on her boots and to add a little dimension to her hair.
Yesterday I did a little shopping and I used the new paper I bought –the orange polka dot is from Bo Bunny, the spider web is from K & Company and the pumpkin paper is midnight dreary from Moxxie LLC. I used a Stampn’ up punch and stamp for the Happy Halloween sentiment. I used black soot distress ink on the edges of the paper and the flower to give them a misty look and feel. The spider is a stamp from Martha Stewart. I added a little bling and some new-stripped wired ribbon to finish off my card.

Butterfly Wishes: Running Tilda off to a Birthday Party
I made this tin of lollipops as a birthday gift for a co-worker. I used copic markers (E000, E00, E11, E31, E50, E25, R81, R83, R85, C0, C01, C5, C7) to color the image. I cut Tilda out and used a couple of pop dots to adhere her to the label. I then used two different sentiment stamps and punched the out with a round punch from Fiskar. For the balloon string I used embroidery floss.
To add a little extra to Tilda I used brown flower soft to her basket and for the center of the flowers I used three different colors of smooch. I used some liquid glass to give her shoes the patent leather look.

Summer Tilda with Hat
I just love the Magnolia stamps. I used the Summer Tilda with Hat and the Honey Jar; she is just too cute for words. I colored the image with Copic markers C00, C01, C03, C05, C07, R20, E000, E00, E11, R81, R83, R85, B91, B93, R00, and R01. To add a little sparkle I used my Spica pens – yellow, black, red and silver. I cut out both images. I used pop dots to give a 3-D look to the jar then placed Tilda on the top of the jar. For the final touches I used sheer blue ribbon and the light pink hearts.

A Wonderful Weekend!
I had a very relaxing weekend. Worked in my garden and attended a wedding. Here is a gorgeous sunflower from my garden. Also, here is the wedding card I created for the wonderful couple. I used the cross stamp from Heartfelt Creations and the bridal couple from Magnolia. Jessica and Barrett spent a year in Israel teaching children and spreading the good news of Jesus. They will be raising funds to that they can return to continue their work. I wish them all the best as they begin their life together!
