Can you believe it is the end of April? Time for another great challenge over at Midweek Magnolias "Texture". You have one more day to help me celebrate my new DT position - I have celebration candy to share.

I really enjoyed creating my card! The dragon fly and butterflies were created with a stencil using Viva Ferro Metal Effect Color Golden Green. If you haven't tried this product you need to give it a go. I used Tilda with Big Ribbon. She was colored with Copic Markers - Skin E000, E00, R20; Hair E40, E41, E42, E43. Her dress, socks and bow were paper pieced with Maja paper. For dies I used Magnolia Doohickey So Wrapped Lovely; Cherry Lynn Butterfly and Martha Stewart butterfly punch.  To complete my texture design I use Kraft Flute paper, feathers, ribbon, flowers, wooden embellishment and decorative pins.

Frame It

Welcome to Midweek Magnolia's new challenge "Frame It". I am happy to say that I am enjoying  the beach and sunshine in Florida. Yes, my wonderful husband bought me a ticket to visit my son.  It is so nice to be where it is green and warm!

Now onto my card. I chose sweet Love Tilda for my card.  She is sitting so pretty in this beautiful window die from Memory Box. I colored my image with Copic Markers - skin E000, E01, R20; hair E25, E31, E50; overalls R35, R37, R39; shirt and cuffs R0000, R01, C00, C01; shoes E40, E41, E42.
I used dies from Magnolia - Tilda Ticket, So Wrapped Lovely; Cherry Lynn Flourish, Martha Stewart butterfly punch. The papers are from Magnolia and Maja.  I've embellished my design with resin frame and bird from Prima and the flowers are from Petaloo. To complete my design I added some pretty lace trim and tulle ribbon.

I have some very exciting news to share! I was contacted by Tracy at Simply Magnolia today and she let me know that I made the team!!! I can't tell you how thrilled and excited I am to be a part of this awesome team. To celebrate my fabulous news I am offering some candy.

Edwin is Ready for Easter

Hello,

Today I would like to share a card I made using Edwin. I am going to send this cutie to my son in Idaho for Easter. I decided to do a criss cross card. I colored Edwin with Copic markers - E000, E00, R01, E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, B95, B97, B99. I paper pieced his shirt and socks with Maja paper and Pion Paper. I used Magnolia Stamp Edwin with a Butterfly and Chocolate Box. The egg tab is a Memory Box and the inside of the card I used a Go Kreate die.

Easter Bunnies

Welcome to Midweek Magnolia's challenge Easter -Bunnies. I can't believe it is April!  My wonderful husband bought me a ticket to Florida. I am going to visit my son and DIL. Can't wait to basque in the sunshine. I hope you are all having a good week.

I would like to share an easel card I made with Bunny Tilda and mini Bunny Tilda. I colored Tilda's face then I paper pieced her bunny suit. The paper is Pion paper A Day in May. The paper had the eggs so I cut them out and popped them up. I used tulle, cheese cloth, trim and misc embellishments to create my design.
