Tilda Heads to the Beach

Happy Monday,

We are finally having beautiful summer weather. Today I would like to share my DT card for Magnolia Forever. I used Sea Shell Tilda and paper pieced her dress and shell. The DP is from Authentique. I found these sea shell templates on line here (they were lots of fun). I embellished my card with flowers, seashells that I have collected, tulle, chess cloth and the DP. My image was colored with Copic Markers E000, E00, R20, E31, YR20, YR21, BG0000, BG10.

Today I would like to share my Elisabeth Belle DT card with you Sweetest Surprises. I colored my image with Copic Markers. The paper is from Prima. I used Cherry Lynn Butterfly, Heart and Flourish die; Magnolia Doo Hickey Heart Tag. To embellish my design I added ribbon, flowers, bling, lace, prima metal embellishment and small butterflies using a Martha Stewart Punch. I hope you will join us for our new challenge "Summer".

Tilda Love Lady Bugs

I hope your week is going well. Today I would like to share my DT stitching card for Midweek Magnolias. I crossed stitched the lady bugs and then mounted them on a piece of chipboard.

I used Maja paper, Cherry Lynn Butterfly and flourish die, La La Land Banner Die, and used Martha Stewart punch for the smaller butterflies. To complete my card I used lace, flowers, doilies, and pearl bling. My image was colored with Copic Markers. The stamp is Tip Toe Tilda from Magnolia.

Beach Themed Canvas

Today I would like to share my canvas. I have decided to give our guest room and bathroom a face lift. It will be a Shabby Chic beachy  feel. My tray and this canvas will be used on the bedroom walls.

I used small canvases. I chose seaside stencils from Tattered Angels. I just love the new Prima sprays (Golden Foil, Torn Leather, and Summer Sky)

The paper is from Pion Shoreline Collection. Featured on these canvases are Edwin Catching a Fish and Bikini Tilda. I chose Magnolia Doo Hickey Swirly Butterfly, La La Land Corner Die and Cherry Lynn Flourish die. To complete my design I used flowers, bling, Prima Resin embellishment, sea shells, metal embellishments, floss, tulle, ribbon and a string of pearls.

On the side of the canvas I used the DP to give the canvas some to carry out the design to the edges. I chose to keep the Canvas design simple so that you could see the background stencils.

Christmas in June

Hello,

Can you believe it is almost summer? So I decided to created a Christmas postcard. Believe me I am not wishing it were winter quite the opposite. Today my postcard features The Littlest Angel by Elisabeth Bell. She is so beautiful.

I colored her with Copic Markers E000, E00 R20, E70, E71, E74, R35, R37, R39, BG91, BG93, C00, C01. To create the gold I used a yellow glitter pen. I add some liquid pearls. I inked all the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I added postal stamps to the background. For the finishing touches I chose ribbon, lace, flowers, bling, Memory box snowflake border and snowflake and Marianne Snowflake Die.

Tea Please

Wow! Can you believe it is the middle of June? Here is the tea box I created for Simply Magnolia's new challenge "Anything but a Card". I colored her with Copic Markers and paper pieced her. I sprayed my Prima Bloom Mist Gold Foil. I used Magnolia Doo Hickey Tea Tag die and Martha Stewart butterfly punch. The DP is from Prima Stationers Desk Collection and a Prima clear tea cup stamp. I added a clock knob to the top of my box.

I would like share my tag I created using Elizabeth Belle's Twinkle Toes -Flit (http://www.sweetpeastamps.com/category_90/Elisabeth-Bell-Designs.htm). I colored the skin and hair of my image and paper pieced the rest. I used Graphic 45 A Secret Garden.  The dies I used are butterfly from Cherry Lynn and Magnolia Doo Hickey Heart. To complete my tag I used purple and yellow tulle and wooden heart.

Summer Fun

Happy Thursday,

I would like to share my tray with you today. Kelly and I live far from each other but decided to do a project together. She will post hers separately. We had a lot of fun purchasing the items for our trays. I have to admit I stole her picture frame idea (yes I did ask her permission - LOL). 

I just love the ocean so this tray was way too much fun. And the Pion paper is delightful. I am in a paper piecing  phase so all the clothing on Edwin and Tilda have been paper pieced. I added frantage to give the effect of water spraying. I added cheese cloth, lace trim, gold trim and the tulle bows to give my tray texture but also to create that beachie feel. I bought the tray at Hobby Lobby 1/2 off so it was a great deal. I hope I have inspired you to create something today!

I chose to make a tag using baby Edwin. He is just the sweetest. I colored him with Copic Markers E000, E00, R20, E41, E42, E44, Y000, Y11, Y13, C00, C01, C03, BG10, BG11. I paper pieced his overalls. They remind me of the overalls my boys used to wear -OshKoshBgosh. I used a little frantage in the background, the DP is from Maja, I added ribbon and a charm.

Sweet Tooth

First, I would like to share my gorgeous poppies with you. My son CJ planted the sweet orange Icelandic Poppies. 

Now on to my card featuring this sweet Elisabeth Bell’s image - Sweet Tooth. I colored her with Copic Markers (E000, E00. R20, E74, C0, C01, C03, R81, R83, R35, R37, R39). 

I used Spellbinders dies and Magnolia Doo Hickey Tilda Tag and Daisy. Frantage was used to highlight my image. You can’t see it in the photos but I used red Liquid Pearls on some of the gum balls. The DP is from Magnolia and to finish my card I used lace and red tulle.

Hello Again,

Today I am featuring this Sweet Tilda who gets to spend her Birthday in France. I would say she is one lucky girl. Our challenge over at Simply Magnolia is "Pin Up". So come on over and show us your creation.

I used this sweet Tilda sitting on luggage that I paper pieced. She has designer luggage LOL!
I colored her with Copic Markers BV02, BV04, BV08, Y00, Y11, RV21, RV23, E0000, E00, R20, E71, E74, E77, C03, C05. The paper are from Maja Designs. I have added a few die cuts, feather, ribbon, pin, charm, wooden camera, and tickets. The wooden camera was painted with Tim Holtz crackle paint - white picket.

Beautiful Bridal Couple

Happy Sunday,

It is finally a gorgeous day here! Sunny and warm; I love it. Today I made this card for my parents anniversary.  I love this bridal couple and this new paper from Prima the Stationers Notepad is gorgeous. I colored my images with Copic Markers, silver pen and liquid pearls. The dies are from Magnolia Doo Hickey and Cherry Lynn. To complete my design I chose Tulle, pearl bling, flowers, and wooden heart. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the butterflies.
