Thank You Mindy
Happy Saturday!
I can't believe today is the last day of March! My husband and I will be visiting my son and our wonderful daughter-in-law in Florida after Easter. I am so looking forward to the trip.
I want to thank Mindy for this adorable stamp. I got it Thursday in the mail. I worked on this card Thursday night until about 11:45pm. I was determined to finish it. Boy was I tired at work yesterday. The part that took me the longest was deciding on the color scheme. I think I tried 3 or 4 different colors before I was happy with the look. Below is what I used to create this card.
Magnolia stamp
Copic Markers
Spellbinders
Buttons, flower, lace
Distress Ink
Various paper- The shimmery crinkle paper is from my friend Kerry (she brought it back from Hong Kong). Love it!
Bling
Memory Box die - Tessatina Border

Hello,
Did everyone have a good week? I was very excited today I sold my first two cards! What I found interesting is no one realizes until I tell them that I color the images. One woman this week said oh I thought it was a sticker; now I am impressed. This person surprised me because she is a graphic designer and she does a lot of artsy projects.
I did up some simple candy holders. They are little match books and you place a small bag of candy inside. I put a bag of Cadbury eggs in the purple one as a sample. The little holders make great table favors for the holidays or I made them for my son's wedding.
Here is what I used:
Mini Magnolia Stamps - egg, bumble bee, & bunny
Various Spellbinders
Copic Markers
Distress Ink
Various paper and ribbon from my stash
I am entering them in the Magnolia-Licious Highlites Challenge -SPRING theme!

Rose Scent Tilda
Happy Monday!
I can't believe March is almost over! Well Mother Nature has had the last laugh. Tonight below 20 degrees; last week we were in the 80's. Oh well that is New England for you.
I have a funny story. I got together with my scrap friends this weekend and one of them brought a couple of Magnolia stamps. I saw Rose Scent Tilda and said I love her and I need to get her. Well guess what? I had her. Obviously, I must have too many stamps. LOL! So with that said I had to ink up this gorgeous image.
Here is what I used:
Copic Markers
Liquid glass to give her button a shiny look
Spellbinders
Various Bling
Ribbon
Flowers
Paper from my stash

Here is a close up of Tilda.

A Special Thank You
Happy Tuesday,
Well our weather is holding steady; we could possibly hit 80 degrees on Thursday. My husband and I actually ate outside for dinner tonight. So totally not a March activity in the North East.
I made this card for a special teacher. She was kind enough to let me come and observe her room. And then ask a lot of questions. She teaches pre k. The kids were very cute. It was a fun morning. I had a lot of fun making this card!
Here is what I used:
Magnolia Stamp- Study Tilda with glasses
Copic Markers
Silver Glitter Pen
Gold Spica Pen
Tim Holtz Muse Token - Knowledge
Red & White Twine
Jolees Embellishments
Small envelope
White Glitter
Paper from my stash
Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Here is a close up of Tilda:
Tilda was colored with Copic Markers. I used the silver glitter pen for the frames on her glasses. I put some white glitter on her wings to give her a little glam. All the edges of the paper were inked with the Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I popped Tilda and the preschool chalk board with tape. You are able to remove the alphabet stack from the small envelope. I added a few embellies to the inside of the card too.
Here is the inside of the card:

Tilda with Baby Tingla for a Special Friend
Well it is Monday and March is underway! The weather here is unbelievable snow & ice last week and this week we will hit the 60 degree mark. At least the sun is shinning and spring is a few weeks closer. Did you have time to craft this weekend? I did and I actually got a couple of things finished.
We have a Bible study group with four couples. Three of us have married children and about 7 months ago we were trying to figure out who was going to be grandparents first. Well it's not me; it was my dear friend Susan. Her daughter was due to have a baby in May. Her daughter moved to Palestine in January and last week came down with severe preeclampsia. Praise God little Madison Joy was born 10 weeks early and very tiny 2.5 lbs. but according to the doctor is very healthy for her size. And Madison's mom is also doing well too. We will continue to pray that Madison will grow and be able to go home with her parents in a couple of months.
I made this card for Susan. The handwritten note was what she had posted the day after Madison was born. The picture of her sucking her thumb is just too cute. Here is the back of the card.
I used this template from one of my Magnolia magazines. It seemed fitting for a dainty little girl. I used paper, ribbon and fibers from my stash to decorate the dress. Of course had to add some bling. Tilda and Baby Tingla were colored with Copic Markers W00, W01, E000, E00, E11, E31, YR20, YR21, R000, R00, R01, R20, E41, E41, and E43. I thought the sentiment was quite appropriate for this card. Lastly, I added some glitter to their wings.

Easter Greetings Tilda & her Bunny
Today was a great day! I went and had a delicious breakfast with my husband at a local pancake house. Oh and real maple syrup; so yummy! My scrap buddies were supposed to come over but due to some unforeseen circumstances that didn't happen. However, we did Skype and craft all afternoon which was great fun.
I started this card a couple of days ago and just finished. Tilda & her Bunny is the star of this card. I colored her with Copic Markers:
E000, E00, E11, E31, E41, E42, E43,B000, BG10,G0000, G00,G20, G21,G28, G40,R20, R81,R83,R85, W00, YR20, and YR21. I used a Sharpie paint marker to create the polka dots on her dress and hat. I cut out the rabbit and popped it up per my husband's suggestion. I added the gathered ribbon around the image.
The paper is from Basicgrey -Olivia. I used Martha Stewart punch for the butterfly, then added some bling and flowers to finish the design. Oh and I added stitches with matching thread up the side. Below is a close up of Tilda.
On the inside I used coordinating paper. The little flowers are from my Poppy Stamps die "Wildflower Patch". To tie the inside and the outside of the card together; I stamped the bunny, cut it and placed it on the inside corner of the card. I used an Easter sentiment that I had and chose a coordinating green. All the paper edges were inked with Distress Ink Tea Dye.
Here is a view of the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving encouraging comments!
