Love and Hearts

We are getting closer to Valentine's Day, time to make a card for that special someone. The Magnolia Licious store has a great new collection that is perfect for Valentine's Day - A Touch of Love. I chose Cupid Angel Tilda for my card. She is simply adorable. I colored her with Copic Markers and added some fun iridescent flakes to here wings to make them sparkle. The paper is from Pion as are the flowers. I used Go Create Dies and a Cherry Lynn heart Die.

The Magic of Winter

Happy Saturday!

I hope if you are getting the big snow storm that you are safe. If it's any consolation in Northern FL it's 39 degrees but feels like 32. No sunshine lots of wind.

I would like to share a card made for the Pion challenge "The Magic of Winter". I just love the Pion paper it is so beautiful.  The paper I used was Wintertime in Swedish Lapland and Days of Winter. I used Susan Wilson flower dies and Go Create Dies. To complete my design I use a decorative clip with an image from the Pion paper, pair of ice skates, bling in the flowers and tulle.

Anything Goes with a Magnolia Image

Wow! Can you believe January is half over? It is a little chilly in Northern Florida right now. We had a frost yesterday and it was 48 degrees. Needless to say when I went for my afternoon walk I wore my down jacket.....LOL!

Now onto our new challenge for Midweek Magnolias "Anything Goes with a Magnolia Image". Before Christmas I did not use many of my Christmas goodies so I thought it was appropriated to make a Christmas card. The paper, flowers and embellishments are from Prima Victorian Christmas. Die cuts are from Go Create. And the two Magnolias are from the 2015 A Lovely Christmas - Christmas Carmel Tilda and Christmas Merchant Desk.  To complete my card I used Vintage White Frantage, tipped the edges of paper with snow, and added a tulle bow.

Winter Themed

And Happy 2016! Welcome to Magnolia Licious's first challenge of the New Year "Winter Themed". I just returned from Prima Art Venture and CHA in Anaheim, CA. It was awesome. I learned so much, met so many great crafters and educators. Now I feel rejuvenated for 2016!

Today I would like to share my tag with you featuring Hiking Edwin. Check out Diana's store if he is not in the store I am sure she would order him for you. Or there are some new stamps on preorder - A Touch of Love. Just in time for Valentine's Day.

Edwin has been colored with Copic markers and I use liquid snow and Vintage White Frontage to create a winter look and feel. I used a tree shaped chipboard and covered it with Maja paper. Other papers used in my design are from Pion.  The die cuts are fro Marianne and Magnolia Doo Hickey.

Show us Something New

Happy New Year,

I am thrilled right now I am at Prima Art Venture. What a thrill and time to craft.

Below is my project for Mid Week Magnolias "Show us Something New". I created this gift set for a little girl. I used my Tim Holz bag die to create the little gift bag. And the Teddy Bear die is from my new stash. How cute is that bear?

I used Pion Paper. Baby Tildas was colored with Copic Markers and paper pieced. The other items I chose for my design were Vintage Pink Frontage, Ribbon, Trim, and Stempleglede stamp. Now let's see what you create!
