Call Day

Yesterday was amazing! My son has dedicated the last eight year's of his life to become a Pastor. He received his call as an Associate Pastor in Family and Youth Ministries to Stuart, Florida. He and his fiance Amanda are so excited about their new home. He will graduate on May 21st, be married on June 19th and his ordination will be sometime in July. It is very exciting and I am very proud of him.

Here is a photo of them yesterday before he received his call.

Butterflies are free to fly!

I used my new Memory Box stamps - Palamedes Swallowtail, First Flight and Distressed Swirl that I purchased this weekend. The sentiment is from Rosie's Roadshow.

The best part was yesterday I went to Archivers in St. Louis, oh what fun. I bought this great TPC Studio paper Mediterranean Summer - Grecian Blue - gorgeous paper. It is mounted on my favorite polka dot paper by Bo Bunny. To complete the look I bought this awesome ZING blue embossing powder. I used a corner rounder on the edges of the paper and I cut the butterfly out and popped it with a pop dot. Enjoy!

A Muse Get Together at Ink About It!

It was an awesome time. Lots of crafting and shopping. I would call it a card marathon. I made 18! It was great to see my friends, good laughs and stories. Here is the card I made for the event. Got to love that glitter mist. Enjoy the candid photos of the day.

I must hurry the baby is waiting. Oh but I haven't been out crafting with the ladies lately!

I am really concentrating. I hope there are not too many pink cards!

I know I shouldn't stick my tongue out but.....Were are the markers?

Did Someone Say Posies?

Flowers are such happy creatures. I used Rosie's Posy all dressed in Copic markers RV10, RV11, RV32, RV34 and YG23. The Spica sparkles glisten in the sunshine. Don't you just love the BasicGrey kioshi paper; such beautiful colors and design. The pearls add the finishing touch to the card.

A Muse Challenge #15 - Three's a Charm

What woman does not like to shop? I used Cafe, Boutique and Bistro stamps along with Copic colors B41, BG10, E51, E57, R29, R39, W2 and W4. I used my Cricut to cut out the letters and I cut out and popped the Bistro with a pop dot. I couldn't resist the glitz; I sprayed the card with glimmer mist and used Spica pens to finish the look.

April Bridal Shower

A co-worker is getting married in May her theme is sunflowers. I thought the Rosie stamp was most appropriate. I used copic markers and embossed Bridal Shower (A Muse stamp) with gold embossing powder. I just love the turquoise polka dot paper.

Spring is in the air

Happy Friday! I decided to be a little creative and continue the design to the back of the card. The vine with the delicate flowers adds some color to the card and the center of the flowers sparkle with the added bling. Another beautiful image from Memory Box. Enjoy your weekend!

Sweet Baby!

The image was cut from a piece of Lullaby Lane. I used some pearl bling to add dimensions to the carriage. I also used popped dots to create more volume to the card.

What's in a gift

Here is my gift wrap creation for the bridal shower on Sunday. A little glitter mist on the lilies and the sunflowers were colored with Copic markers. Such a pretty package; it reminds me of springtime.

The balloon and flower were stamped kioshi paper. For the center of the flowers I add sky blue Inspirations. The water lily is my favorite; I sprayed it with a pink glimmer mist and added bling to the center. A perfect image for a summer day in April. Happy Wednesday!

Easter is Sunday

I stamped it on a transparency; colored with Copic B23 and B26 and Spica pens gold and sand. I then stamped on white paper and did an overlay. Easter Blessings was done with gold embossing powder. The navy card stock enhances the colors used on the cross with the white background.

I love this new cross stamp I purchased. This special card is for my wonderful husband.
