HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY ME-ME!

I made this card for my daughter-in-law; we feel so blessed to have her as part of our family!

I used Magnolia “Congratulations Tilda” stamp and the sentiment is from AMUSE.

I colored the image with Copic markers B91, B93, B95, B97, B99, BV 20, BV23, C00, C03, E000, E00, E11, E18, E25, E31, E50, R20, V01 and V06. As an accent I used Spica pens pink and lavendar. To give the bow and the confetti some life I added liquid glass.

The flowers and leaf were colored with Glimmer Mist – Crème de Chocolate, Garden Fairy and Haunted Shadows. I used pearl bling for the center of the flowers and to add some interest to the card. To finish the look I added this deep brown ribbon.

HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY ME-ME!

Happy Anniversary

Good Evening,

Where is the sunshine. Another rainy day in paradise.

I made this card for my son and his wife for their 1st wedding anniversary. I love the Magnolia stamps. I used the "Loving bridal couple" and colored them with Copics E000, E00, E11, E31, E33, E41, C00, C1, C3, R20, G94, G99. To create the background for the bridal couple I used Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles Large and Heartfelt Creations custom die - Decorative Oval Window. For the label I used number 10 Spellbinders die cut. The sentiment was from Stampin' Up. I used a gray ink on the edges of the large scalloped circle. For the final touches some simple white flowers and pearl bling.

Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your evening!

Happy Anniversary

SSHHH! Next Tuesday my husband and I will be celebrating 31 years of marriage. I actually made his card early. He loves this cross so read below how I created his card.

I used Tim Holtz distress ink scattered straw, walnut stain, peeled paint and broken china as the background. The background is a stamp from Heartfelt Creations - Vintage Life Background PreCut Set embossed with distress embossing powder Shabby Shutters. The cross is from Northwoods Rubber Stamps, Inc. On the cross I used Perfect Pearls to give it an iridescent look.

Edwin with Butterfly

Happy Monday! What a beautiful sunny day we had. Yesterday my girls bought me lots of beautiful flowers which I planted. They made our deck look like springtime beautiful. I hope all of you had a wonderful day too.

I made this card for a special guy. I used distress ink (scattered straw and dusty concord) for the back ground then I stamped Magnolia jam jar and added perfect pearls (forever violet, perfect gold and perfect bronze)to give that beautiful sparkle. I stamped, cut-out and popped Edwin on the top of the jar. Edwin was colored with Copics E000, E00, E11, E31, E25, E50, C00, C1, C3, B91, B95, B97, R20, YR20, YR21, B63, and BV20. On the butterfly I added a little Grape Soda Smooch and Spica pens - Sand & Lavendar. Lastly, I used my butterfly Martha Stewart Punch to add dimension to the butterflies I popped them with pop dots.

Thanks for visiting!

Mother's Day Tag

I decided instead of a card I would make a Mother's Day tag. I used Scattered Straw and Age Mahogany as the background for the tag. I then used a Memory Box stamp for the background and embossed it using distressed embossing powder. Then I colored the image with Copic markers E11, E00, E000, E25, E31, R20, R21, R22, and YR20. I cut the image out and used pop dots to give the tag some dimension. I added some bling to her headband.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there!
