Tilda all Pretty in Pink

Hello,
Well we got some more snow today! Heavy wet stuff. Fortunately, it has gotten a little warmer. We are now in the 30’s Yahoo…. I would prefer 80 degrees.

I had such a great time making an altered canvas; I decided to try another one. I tried some new techniques after getting some tips from Kelly. I actually repurposed this canvas.
First, I painted the canvas with Gesso to cover up the old paint. I chose my paper, tore it into the sizes I wanted. Used a multi-medium matte to secure all my paper in place. I let the canvas dry overnight. Then I used two colors of acrylic paint; a shimmering pink and a tan. I painted in random areas and before it dried I misted the canvas and lightly wiped away some of the paint with a paper towel. I stamped a few areas with different stamps to compliment my design. I used lots of bling, ribbon and flowers to embellish the canvas. To complete the look I used Tim Holtz tape and secured it around the edges with the multi-media matte.

Here is a closer look at Tilda:

Below are the items I used to complete my design:

Carta Bella Paper – Paris
Cryogen Paper

Magnolia Stamps – Chocolate, Luggage, Tilda ( I couldn't find her name)

A Ladies Diary

Hello,

How is your week going? Mine is going great. My wonderful, sweet husband gave me a gift; a trip to Florida to visit my son and his wife. So looking forward to the visit, sunshine, ocean, and spa ministry.

Now on to my 7 Kids College Fund project for this weeks challenge "Anything Goes". I made an altered cigar box for my niece for Christmas. I used cut-outs from the paper to embellish the box. I added some delicate die cuts and add pearl bling.

You can purchase the following products at 7 Kids College Fund Store:

Surprise

Happy Monday,

Today for the Forever Fortnightly challenge I am show casing this adorable Butterfly Bear - 5 from Bugaboo. I decided to color the bear with a fur texture to give the image dimension. I thought the bear would look cool a top of the honey jar. It turned out as a celebration card. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your week!

Robin Hood Christopher

Happy Monday,

How was your weekend? Mine was great. I spent a wonderful day with my husband. Then on Sunday visited my parents, niece, sister and her husband. We had a great time.

I got a special watermark from Nicole the owner of Inky. I have had the hardest time getting it to work with my Mac. Then on Saturday I downloaded Pic Monkey. Just love it. That is how I created the header on my blog. If you haven't you should try it out. I hope I have inspired you to create today!

I created this simple birthday card. This image is so adorable. I really enjoyed coloring him.
