Luckily, they have OPERATION WRITE HOME (OWH (http://www.operationwritehome.org/)). OWH is a non-profit organization that sends special boxes filled with cards to soldiers all over the world. How can you help OWH keep the good deed going? By creating cards!!! Yes! OWH angels receive tons of handmade cards from crafters all over the world, then they check and organize cards to be sent out to our soldiers. Take a look at some of their own words about OWH packs: (http://operationwritehome.org/heroblog/)

Winter Edwin with Christmas Lantern

Hello Maggie Lovers,

It is a going to be a gorgeous week here in NH. Sunny, blue sky, beautiful foliage, and perfect temperatures. My nephew now has a name it is Connor, Scott. I went to see him again yesterday and he is just so cuddly.

Today I am featuring a mitten card with Winter Edwin with Christmas Lantern. I cover my two mitten piece with Maja Design- It's Christmas Time. I also paper pieced Edwin's clothing with the same paper. I colored Edwin's skin with E000, E00, R20 and hair E50, YR51, YR53. For his wings and mittens I used some fine glitter.

I used the So Jolly Sentiment and my flower paper shaper punch (from Stampn' Up). To embellish my card I used my new Cozy Big Snowflake a Magnolia Doo Hickey Die, ribbon, charm and Shabby White Frantage.

Here a a couple of closer views of Edwin:

Happy Saturday,

Hello Maggie lovers! Are you having a good weekend? My day started out sunny but it looks like the rain is rolling in. Bummer!

As I was poking around the other night I found that Fashionista Challenge is having a DT call. No Noses..... I was so excited so I created this heart project for my submission. I just love this sweet little Tilda. I am hoping when I go to the mailbox today my package from Diana is there......

I stamped my image on Cryogen paper with black Memento ink. I then colored her with Copic markers- skin E00, E000, R20; hair E25, E35, E50; outfit R81, R83, R85; heart R000, R01, R02. I paper pieced her head band and add Shabby Pink Frantage to the heart she is holding.

You're My Cup of Tea

 Happy Saturday!

Do you have some exciting plans for the weekend? Well thanks for visiting 7 Kids College Fund Store. You will find lots of inspiration from the DT; their creations are fabulous!

Today I would like to share another tag. I am addicted to the Prima Doll Stamps. I did not use a lot of embellishments for my tag. Instead I used my paper and stencils to give my tag a personality. I used Frantage for the tea cup  arrangement. And those tiny buttons on her blouse are liquid pearls.
For my doll I used paper except I did color her hair with Copic. I definitely need 1 hmmm maybe 2 more of these lovely doll stamps.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
